Inter-Professional Online Research and Technology Assessment Laboratory (I-PORTAL) will be a 12,000sqft, 12 million CAD research centre at George Brown College's new waterfront centre. Connected to a 25,000 sqft simulation hospital, the I-PORTAL will be an interdisciplinary applied research facility, focusing on health technology and informatics.
OFID was consulted to aid in spatial design, concept, furniture/equipment plan, and writing of a 3 million CAD grant proposal. The centre will be built regardless of the status of the grant.
